Updated Website!
It has finally happened! We have updated our site! Long over due, we know... we finally did it we have updated our site! Now we invite everyone to be sure come and check out all the new features and improved look of our site, but to also leave us feedback of any additional changes you would recommend we make or features that as users you would like us to have on our site. Future things we are possibly thinking about adding to our site include an online reservation system, meaning users could book their photo shoots with the click of a mouse, and also creating the ability for users to order products online. 10 Reasons to Feel Comfortable at Pixies Photography
The idea of a boudoir photo shoot can be a little intimidating to some; lots of skin, a new place, people you may or may not have met before. That's why we've decided to give you 10 Reasons to Feel Completely Comfortable at Pixies Photography!
1. We're an all-women company, and each employee respects you and your desires for your experience with Pixies Photography.
2. Stephanie and Kelly have some serious experience working in the cosmetology industry! Kelly worked on the sets of photo shoots and music videos in southern California for a stint, and Stephanie owned a salon in Wayzata, Minnesota. 3. We're here for you every step of the way. Have any questions at any step of the process? 4. Our studio offers comfortable private spaces where you'll be pampered from beginning to end.
5. Pixies Photography knows how difficult posing may seem, but our skilled photographers coach you through the entire process.
6. While we know you're beautiful just the way you are, we love to give you the supermodel treatment by going through and retouching photos to your specifications.
7. We will never share your photos without your consent.
8. We have tons of clothes, shoes, accessories, tights and more to give you the perfect looks for your photos! Come raid our closet to find what speaks to you. Have something in mind, like a tie, ball cap or shirt? Bring it along and we'll incorporate it in your photo shoot!
9. We provide a genuinely comfortable atmosphere & experience, but are able to make accommodations to fit your needs. (Please let us know if you need any special accommodations; we're here to meet your needs!)

The Everyday Woman
It seems more often than not we hear "I coud never do that" or "I don't look like that". What most women don't realize is YES you can "do that" or "look like that" It's always fun when the women that come to our studio allow us to use their photos. We always take a before picture so they and everyone else can see just how beautiful they are!! Here are just a few ladies who so graciously have allowed us to use their photos. We think that they are just beautiful, hopefully you do too!!

Behind the camera!
One of the best things about our job is knowing when the ladies leave our studio they couldn't feel better about themselves!! We have had the privilege of meeting some of the best around! Everyone has a story and each one is a bit different and unique in their own way!
Everyone comes with butterflies, (some more than others) but it's so rewarding to see the smiles on their faces as they walk out our door! Here are just a few "woot woots" we've received lately and a couple of "behind the scenes" pictures.

What to bring to your boudoir shoot?
This is something that we get asked often. Here are a few ideas of what you can wear for your shoot.
LINGERIE: Baby dolls, corsets, teddies, bra pantie set, garter belts & stockings all look great! If you want more shape, maybe pick a corset. Want to camouflage your mid-section, use a baby doll. Pick colors that you feel look great on you!
CASUAL: You don't have to wear lingerie for your shoot, there are a ton of other great ideas. Baggy sweaters with a pair of panties look really cute! A little black dress (or your favorite dress) can make you feel good. Even robes and coats can be fun. Look through your significant others closet, maybe one of his shirts and ties, jerseys or any other fun thing that you can find.
ACCESSORIES: Shoes are a definite must!! Jewelry looks good too. It just adds a little something to your outfit. Try adding gloves, long satin ones can look great. Another thing that can really add something to your photos is a hat. Whether it be a fedora, cowboy, baseball etc...

2. Clean the bottoms of you shoes before you arrive.
3. Wear loose fitting clothing to your session to prevent lines, dents & marks on your skin.
4. Tan lines can be hard to photoshop so try to come without any or maybe wear something that hides them a bit.
